Abstract

The implementation of the Extraordinary Operating Protocols adopted by the Penitentiary Police Corps within the Penitentiary Institutes to face the Pandemic from COVID-19, are the complex of precise and scrupulous prevention activities aimed at protecting the Order and Security, as well as guarantee and safeguard the health of the policemen and all civil and health personnel operating in the sector, which is configured in a consolidated and enveloping total protection to support all the restricted, constituting a priority that requires action in the face of complex problems joint of all penitentiary divisions within their respective responsibilities, as well as the promotion of consistent and constant interrelationships between the individual command areas. e implementation of the Extraordinary Emergency Protocols of the Penitentiary Security system in case of Pandemic, require the application of strict preventive measures to be applied to contrast the spread of the COVID-19 Virus, aimed at strengthening the individual operating protocols that have objective of optimizing and reinforcing that coordination of security plans in prisons and related services, in addition to the implementation of specific actions adopted by rapid reaction strategies aimed at preventing the harmful effects that could derive from sources of risk. e condition dictated by CORONAVIRUS within the various Penitentiaries is constantly monitored by the Situation Room of the Inspection and Control Office, which receives and monitors the information transmitted simultaneously by the Penitentiary Institutes and the related structures, assisted by the Head of the Department and by the General Management, prepares specific operational intervention plans.
