Abstract

Neoliberalismus ist eine Sackgasse. Wirtschafts- und gesellschaftspolitische Alternativen sind bitter nötig. Die Mehrzahl der bereits vorhandenen Gegenentwürfe ist moralisch oder utopisch. Schon die Forderung nach einer gerechteren Verteilung von Einkommen und Vermögen verheddert sich in der ethischen Beliebigkeit des Begriffs Gerechtigkeit. Dieses Buch erklärt, weshalb eine ökonomische Analyse von Alternativen zwingend ist. Deshalb prüft es den herrschenden Mainstream der ökonomischen Wissenschaft. Es weist nach, dass eine Alternative zum Neoliberalismus - der derzeitigen Ausprägung der Marktwirtschaft - eine Voraussetzung hat: das klar analytische Verständnis der ökonomischen Funktionsweise des Kapitalismus.
