Fehlzeitenreport 2024. Krankheits- und unfallbedingte Fehlzeiten in Österreich

Abstract

Die Entwicklung der gesundheitlich bedingten Fehlzeiten bis einschließlich 2023 ist seit dem Jahr 2020, in dem die COVID-19-Pandemie ihren Beginn hatte, sowohl von der Zunahme der Beschäftigtenzahlen wie auch von der Zunahme der Fehlzeiten geprägt. 2023 verbrachten die unselbständig Beschäftigten durchschnittlich 15,4 Kalendertage im Krankenstand. Diese Zahl ist um einen halben Tag höher als 2022. Der Verlust an Jahresarbeitszeit lag 2023 mit 4,2% bzw. mit 4,1% im Jahr 2022 deutlich höher als in den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten.
