Konjunkturreport Einzelhandel

Abstract

Der Konjunkturreport Einzelhandel stellt einmal pro Quartal wesentliche Konjunkturinformationen für den Einzelhandel bzw. Handel insgesamt zusammen. Eine laufende Konjunkturbeobachtung und -berichterstattung ist von hoher Relevanz, um den Handelsbetrieben sowie der interessierten Öffentlichkeit aktuelle Daten und Analysen liefern zu können. Der aktuelle Bericht zeigt, dass die gesamtwirtschaftliche Lage zu Jahresbeginn anhaltend gedämpft verlief und sich die Stimmungsindikatoren der Einzelhandelsunternehmen zuletzt weiter verbesserten. Dies gilt sowohl für die aktuellen Lagebeurteilungen als auch die unternehmerischen Erwartungen. Der Geschäftsgang im Einzelhandel blieb im Jänner und Februar jedoch noch verhalten, wobei sich die Dynamik zuletzt nicht weiter verschlechterte. Im Zuge des Anstiegs des real verfügbaren Haushaltseinkommens wird wieder mit einer stärkeren Konsumnachfrage der privaten Haushalte gerechnet, was auch positiv im Einzelhandel wirken sollte.
