Policy Brief: Die Energiebilanz 2013 und die Erreichbarkeit der Energieziele für 2020

Abstract

Eine Erstanalyse der Energiebilanz 2013 von Statistik Austria zeigt mit 1.119 PJ eine Steigerung des Energieverbrauches gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 1,8%. Dieser Zuwachs geht einher mit einem nur geringen Wachstum des Bruttoinlandsproduktes von 0,2% sowie milden Wintertemperaturen. Bereinigt um den Einflüsse der Konjunkturschwäche und der milden Temperaturen ergibt sich ein Normalwert für den energetischen Endverbrauch von 1.143 PJ. Das österreichische Energieeffizienzgesetz sieht für 2020 einen energetischen Endverbrauch von 1.050 PJ vor. Sowohl gemessen am realisierten als auch am errechneten Normalwert entfernt sich Österreich derzeit von diesem Zielwert.
