Políticas de industrialización del Perú 1980-1990

Abstract

Los estudios sobre la industria peruana y las políticas de industrialización no son numerosos. No tenemos en el país diagnósticos acabados y propuestas industriales plenamente diseñadas. Por ellos aportar al conocimiento y evaluación de la experiencia peruana en este sector tiene importancia, no sólo para conocer mejor el pasado sino, también, para buscar salidas hacia el futuro. El presente texto es un análisis de la evolución de las políticas que, de manera directa e indirecta, han incidido en la industria durante la década del ochenta. Ello es visto dentro de un marco global acerca de la situación económica del país y de la política económica de los gobiernos que actuaron durante el decenio señalado. Este material puede ser visto como continuación del libro editado por Desco en 1984, Políticas de industrialización del Perú 1980-1990. Una síntesis, que uno de nosotros elaboró.
