Abstract

Los cambios sociodemográficos, económicos y culturales, así como la creciente incorporación de la mujer al trabajo remunerado, han situado la cuestión de la conciliación de la vida familiar y laboral en un primer plano en los últimos años. En España, el proceso de descentralización territorial ha traído consigo que las comunidades autónomas estén desarrollando un creciente número de políticas en el terreno de la conciliación. Desde esta perspectiva, este documento analiza las principales políticas de conciliación que desarrollan las comunidades autónomas mediante diferentes iniciativas y planes relacionados con el empleo, la igualdad de oportunidades y el apoyo a la familia, así como su plasmación tanto en normas legales como en convenios colectivos, apuntando la importancia de sus líneas de actuación, su desarrollo desigual y la necesidad de una mayor coordinación.
