Abstract

El hecho de que el bienestar de la totalidad pase por el de sus individuos componentes lleva a la teorización aristotélica a una polémica con el planteamiento platónico, la cual se proyecta en los debates contemporáneos sobre la función de preferencia social y la regla del voto mayoritario. Es decir, sobre la relación entre bienestar social y proceso político en el Estado democrático que es abordada en esta obra con gran acierto.
