Un Libro por Centavos n.º 27 El país íntimo de Vargascarreño tiene viajeros, trenes, estancias, confesiones, juegos de infancia, rituales, imprecaciones... Lo recorren trenes de equívocos trayectos; lo surcan imágenes luminosas, plenas de significado; lo atesoran casas en sus altos muros que devienen en tumbas; lo habita un hombre que se confiesa culpable, vivo, hastiado, rebelde, dispuesto a lanzar la piedra de la poesía contra nuestra conciencia para sacarla de su cómodo sueño.
