Aktuelle Trends: Mindestlohn von 8,50 Euro: Hohe Betroffenheit in arbeitsintensiven Branchen

Abstract

Knapp ein Viertel der Arbeitnehmer in Ostdeutschland hatte im Jahr 2013 einen Bruttostundenlohn von weniger als 8,50 Euro. Dies zeigen vom IWH erstmals für das Jahr 2013 durchgeführte Berechnungen auf Basis aktueller Befragungsergebnisse. Damit liegt der Anteil der unter diesem Stundensatz verdienenden Personen in etwa auf dem Vorjahreswert. Besonders hoch ist dabei der Anteil in den arbeitsintensiven Branchen.
