Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ein Großteil des europäischen Warentransports erfolgt mit dem Schiff. Häfen, die die Infrastruktur für maritime Aktivitäten bereitstellen, sind wichtige Akteure im maritimen Sektor und von hoher Bedeutung für die europäische Wirtschaft. Um internationale Klimaabkommen erfüllen zu können, müssen Hafenanlagen künftig nachhaltiger und emissionsärmer betrieben werden, damit an den jeweiligen Standorten die lokalen CO2-Fußabdrücke reduziert werden können.
