Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag analysiert, wie Krankenhäuser in Deutschland – auch vor dem Hintergrund der demographischen Entwicklung und des medizinisch-technischen Fortschritts – Wettbewerbsvorteile erzielen können. Basierend auf einer SWOT-Analyse und einer Bewertung durch ausgewiesene Fachleute kommt der Beitrag zu dem Ergebnis, dass die Supply Chain Integration von Medizinischen Versorgungszentren eine interessante Strategieoption für Krankenhäuser als Leistungserbringer sowie für die medizinische Versorgung im Allgemeinen darstellen kann. Der Beitrag zeigt somit, dass eine Supply Chain Integration für Krankenhäuser im Speziellen sowie Dienstleistungsunternehmen im Allgemeinen von Vorteil sein kann.
