Effectiveness of the Measurement of the Software Development Process and Its Influence on Customers’ Satisfaction

Abstract

In the article, the authors are going to present a set of measures used for testing the effectiveness of the software production process. These measures will be analyzed in the context of the implementation of various IT projects. The authors will evaluate them as to the needs and satisfaction of the customer. During the research, they will analyze the impact of these measures on the level of the customer’s satisfaction. They will consider various projects in the IT industry dedicated to specific customers. Moreover, they will choose projects that are implemented in different technologies. An important issue is the software production process itself and its main stages. The authors will analyze the results of customer satisfaction research to customize selected products to their needs. The purpose of this article is to examine the set of measures that allows controlling the software production process in terms of usefulness for customers.
