Abstract

В статье рассматривается научное наследие Н.Я. Новомбергского в области истории российского права, место и роль историко-правового образования в подготовке юристов. Анализируется выступление Новомбергского на Съезде профессоров российской истории и истории права в Москве (1915), в котором поставлены вопросы подготовки преподавателей истории права для университетов. Эти вопросы весьма созвучны современному состоянию науки истории права.
