Abstract

Долгое время одним из бесспорных конкурентных преимуществ России в мире считалась ее ресурсообеспеченность и, прежде всего, - энергетическая. Сегодня очевидно, что в XXI веке энергетические проблемы человечества не могут быть решены без использования атомной энергии. В этой связи весьма остро стоит вопрос: насколько действительно конкурентоспособность России прямо зависит от уровня развития атомной энергетики? На эту тему на страницах журнала рассуждает заместитель генерального директора по науке Всероссийского научно-исследовательского и проектно-конструкторского института атомного энергетического машиностроения Игорь Николаевич Острецов.
