Abstract

The modern trend of state policy is a focus on all-Russian civic identity in the context of Russian civilizational nation-building. The purpose of the article is to consider values, meanings and narratives as components of the ethnopolitical process of forming an all-Russian civic identity in modern Russia. The versatility of the analyzed problem predetermined the use of a range of methods in the social and human sciences: analysis and synthesis, generalization, comparative, formal legal, secondary data analysis, method of expert assessments, institutional, specific historical. It is determined that the process of forming an all-Russian civic identity includes the formation of three components: cognitive, affective and activity. Identities and their dimensions are manifested in shared language, narratives, official discourses, values, traditions, education, historical approaches, social practices and, in a broad sense, individual and/or collective sense of belonging. Nationwide identification constructs influence the political stability and integrity of the state. Achieving the maximum effect of forming an all-Russian civic identity is directly related to the efficiency and adequacy of modern policies - national, cultural, social, educational, economic. The used research algorithm for achieving goals allows us to talk about the multidimensional impact of values, meanings and narratives on the ethnopolitical process and the formation of a national Russian civic identity.
