Abstract

Although Abdullah Hussain wrote many prominent novels, the fame he gained from "Udass Naslain" is the most distinct and unique. This novel is famous for its uniqueness in Urdu literature. The story of this novel covers the time of the partition of the subcontinent. In the novel, he has mentioned the effects of partition of India. This Novel gained much more popularity in Pakistani Urdu novels.
