Abstract

En octubre de 2016, el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, liderando un consorcio con 6 partners más, públicos y privados, fue galardonado con una de las dieciocho primeras Urban Innovative Actions (UIA) europeas.El proyecto de Barcelona, a desarrollar en tres años bajo el nombre de B-Mincome, creará diversas pruebas experimentales para conceder distintos tipos de renta de garantía de ingresos a individuos y familias con ingresos por debajo del nivel de pobreza y que viven en algunos de los barrios de la ciudad de menor nivel de renta. Los objetivos son evaluar los resultados de diferentes combinaciones de rentas y políticas en términos de reducción de la pobreza, inclusión social y laboral y bienestar subjetivo, entre otros. Dentro del proyecto, se pondrá a prueba el impacto de que parte de los beneficiarios cobren parte de su renta en una moneda social propia de la ciudad así como retribuir algunas acciones de voluntariado comunitario en esta moneda.
