Unele considerente privind pregatirea Romaniei pentru trecerea la euro

Abstract

Aderarea la Uniunea Europeana a reprezentat fara indoiala un insemnat pas inainte pentru Romania. Aderarea la zona euro va reprezenta un al doilea pas de mare importanta in acest proces. Trecerea la zona euro nu trebuie accelerata in mod inutil, iar adoptarea monedei unice nu trebuie tratata drept un scop in sine. Pe langa atingerea obiectivelor de convergenta nominala, realizarea in cel mai scurt timp a convergentei reale reprezinta obiectivul caruia ar fi indicat sa i se subsumeze politicile urmate de autoritatile romanesti.
