Divulgación científica: Modelo basado en competencias en la educación superior. Reflexiones e interrogantes

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta algunas reflexiones surgidas en torno al modelo educativo basado en competencias en el marco del CAI+D 2009 denominado Educación y trabajo. El caso de los alumnos que abandonan los estudios superiores. A tales efectos se indaga acerca de los orígenes históricos y culturales de la utilización de este enfoque en el ámbito de la educación superior, partiendo de la Declaración de Bolonia del año 1999, y del análisis de los modos en que este enfoque se operativizó (Proyecto Tuning, Proyecto 6x4, etc). Se exponen y se analizan distintas definiciones del término competencias en vistas a clarificar su sentido y su alcance. A partir de este planteo surgen algunos interrogantes y reflexiones críticas que procuran develar supuestos, vacíos y vacancias en torno al modelo basado en competencias.
