Divulgación científica: Acerca de las Motivaciones Docentes en un Curso de Articulación de Niveles Educativos en Matemáticas

Abstract

La cuestión de la motivación docente aparece como una de las problemáticas prioritarias en la agenda de las políticas educativas de los países centrales. En los estudios internacionales centrados en los desempeños docentes es persistente la observación de que pocos profesores están motivados para dar lo mejor de sí mismos, que mayoritariamente se sienten frustrados por las diversas obligaciones de sus prácticas docentes en los diferentes niveles educativos y que no se sienten incitados ni estimulados para emprender cambios o nuevos desafíos. Sin embargo, en Argentina, la dimensión motivación docente está ausente en las políticas públicas y es una de las áreas de vacancia en la producción científica educativa. En este trabajo se presentan los resultados obtenidos al indagarse las motivaciones de los cinco capacitadores que actuaron en los últimos seis cursos de formación y capacitación en matemática dirigidos a docentes del nivel medio, dictado en el marco del Programa de Articulación Disciplinar correspondiente a la Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL).
