Abstract

[fre] Modèles urbains dynamiques: étude critique. . L'article passe en revue les principales contributions récentes à la dynamique économique urbaine. Les trois méthodes d'approche — modèles théoriques, simulations sur ordinateur, économétrie urbaine — sont soigneusement évaluées dans leurs apports méthodologiques et leur valeur opératoire. Un modèle spécifique est analysé complètement. Des suggestions sont présentées quant à des voies de recherche futures qui apparaissent comme fructueuses. [eng] Urban dynamic models : a critical view. . The article reviews the principal recent contributions to economic urban dynamics. The three possible approaches— theoretical models, computer simulations, urban econometrics— are carefully evaluated for their methodological virtues ant their operational value. A specifie model is completely analyzed. Suggestions are made as to future research lines that appear to be fruitful.
