Abstract

[eng] Banking reorganization : where specialized banking institutions can take place ? . This article describes 20 years of changes in specialized banking network. First, they notably followed the French banking reorganization and integration. Nevertheless, specialized institutions didn’t integrate and merge into big banks that overcame the market. But, different situations emerged according to the sector. Although a sharp rise of the estate credit occurred in the traditional banking supply, as a loss leader and development of customer’s loyalty, despite of its profitability, most of specialized jobs succeeded to take a special place beside the big networks. . . Classification JEL : G21
