The objective reasons for improvement of the current mechanism of incomes taxation in Ukraine are considered. The current economic conditions are found to be impossible to do completely without government intervention in the social and economic processes, which necessitates combination of the most effective regulatory and fiscal tax functions to regulate income of natural persons and ensure fulfillment of public authorities functions. Numerous problems in the current mechanism of taxation of income were revealed and solution are suggested.
