Abstract

Ez az írás a hazai fiatal technológiai cégekről készített empirikus felmérést megalapozó szakirodalmi áttekintésként készült. Először a témát övező \"fogalmi dzsungelben\" segít eligazodni: bemutatja a technológiai cégek gyakran szinonim és egymással keveredő elnevezéseit, értelmezi az egyes definíciókat, és ismerteti e vállalkozói csoport lehetséges meghatározását. Ezt követően nemzetközi kutatási eredmények alapján érzékelteti, hogy mekkora lehet a technológiai vállalkozások valós gazdasági szerepe. Elméleti oldalról és empirikus kutatások eredményeit összegezve veszi számba a növekedést befolyásoló körülményeket, a fejlődés lehetséges útjait. Végezetül pillanatfelvételt készít a hazai helyzetről, ismerteti a technológiai vállalkozásokat érintő korábbi kutatások főbb eredményeit, és felveti egy átfogó empirikus kutatás szükségességét.
