New Objectives And Measures For Recycling In The Circular Economy Of European Union

Abstract

This article presents the new circular economy package proposed by the European Commission to achieve the new waste recycling and management objectives. The package also includes the definition of rules that take into account the entire life cycle of a product and aim at changing the behavior of businesses and consumers. For the first time, the Member States of the European Union will be obliged to follow a single and common legislative framework.
