Abstract

La universidad cubana actual es científica, tecnológica y humanista. Los profesores universitarios de modo sistemático deben prepararse para asumir los retos del quehacer universitario actual en Cuba. Los educadores nacidos en el siglo XX, en pleno accionar de la labor educacional de la Revolución cubana, deben ser rescatados como sujetos históricos comunes, salvando del olvido los procesos individuales y sociales en que se han visto insertados, participantes de la historia de sus localidades, remarcando el importante espacio que juega lo local dentro de la encomienda social de un país, por lo que nos proponemos como objetivo : Valorar al Dr.C. Wilfredo Mesa Ortega: artista y pedagogo, ejemplo de preparación y superación profesional. Integrante del grupo Teatro D´ Sur, descollando en puestas teatrales, con una visión integradora de la educación, profesor Titular, responsable tutoral de investigaciones académicas y científicas.
