Abstract

En esta oportunidad hemos tenido el placer de conversar con el profesor Israel Vázquez Márquez, que actualmente se desempeña en la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (España) a través de una beca Juan de la Cierva. Israel Márquez, como firma sus trabajos, es Doctor Europeo en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y en los últimos años ha publicado destacados textos sobre cultura digital y nuevos medios, entre los que han de destacarse sus libros “La música popular en el siglo XXI. Otras voces, otros ámbitos†, y sobre todo "Una genealogía de la pantalla", donde evalúa a través de una historia genealógica el devenir de la pantalla hasta los actuales teléfonos y dispositivos portables, de los que algunos somos casi incapaces de separarnos.
