Esquirlas de una experiencia artístico-política: influjos internacionales de Tucumán Arde en los primeros años setenta

Abstract

Tucumán Arde es sin duda la experiencia artístico-política de la vanguardia argentina de los años sesenta que ha adquirido un mayor renombre en la escena internacional del arte contemporáneo durante la última década y media. Su irrupción histórica se topó con la cancelación de las expectativas de dar continuidad a la experiencia, debida al paso a la militancia política de parte de los integrantes de Tucumán Arde y a la posterior implantación del Proceso de Reorganización Nacional. Este artículo trata de recomponer el mapa de algunas de las primeras repercusiones que la experiencia tuvo en diversos contextos situados más allá de las fronteras de Argentina, indagando en la radicación crítica de las diferentes lecturas en cada uno de ellos.
