Self-confidence predicts entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial success

Abstract

•Higher self-confidence predicts entry into entrepreneurship.•Higher self-confidence is associated with better entrepreneurial success.•The results remain robust to controlling for unobserved heterogeneity within MZ twins.
