El buen vivir en el cantón de Cuenca (Ecuador): estudio exploratorio mediante el uso del procedimiento DEMOD de caracterización de variables nominales

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo consiste en presentar un estudio sobre la percepción del buen vivir en el cantón de Cuenca, Azuay, en el Ecuador. Está basado en una encuesta realizada sobre una muestra representativa de hogares durante 2015. Los datos se procesan mediante el uso del procedimiento DEMOD (caracterización de variables nominales) dentro del programa SPAD.n (sistema portable de análisis de datos). Se presentan los procedimientos estadísticos para la construcción de cuatro grupos de buen vivir y sus respectivas asociaciones basadas en el estadístico del chi2. Los resultados ofrecen aportes para la construcción de indicadores de buen vivir.
