Aspectos regulatorios del consumo en Colombia: Autoridades y responsabilidades

Abstract

El derecho del consumidor a la indemnización y reparación, es un aspecto que Naciones Unidas ha con-templado en la Resolución 39/248 sobre la protección de los consumidores en los países en desarrollo. Por tanto, el objetivo de este artículo es efectuar un análisis sobre la ley del consumidor colombiano de acuerdo con las normativas de las Naciones Unidas sobre este tema. De igual forma se muestran los medios legales que la ley colombiana ha desarrollado para la protección de los consumidores, con especial atención en la Ley número 1480 de 2011 “Estatuto del Consumidor”, estudiando las acciones jurisdiccionales y adminis-trativas, y las deficiencias de la ley colombiana en el tema.
