Accesibilidad al trabajo y probabilidad de empleo en Cartagena de Indias (2015)

Abstract

Este documento tiene como objetivo estimar mediante una regresión probabilística la incidencia de la accesibilidad laboral residencial sobre la probabilidad de empleo en el área metropolitana de Cartagena de Indias D. T. y C. con datos provenientes de la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadistica (DANE) para el ano 2015. Siguiendo un marco de desajuste espacial, teniendo en consideración características socioeconómicas, la segregación residencial y de accesibilidad al trabajo vista como tenencia de transporte propio. Los resultados indican que la tenencia de automóvil tuvo un efecto significativo en la empleabilidad, es decir que contar con un medio de transporte propio, incrementa la probabilidad de estar empleado en la ciudad.
