Verarbeitendes Gewerbe der neuen Bundesländer: 1999 stabile Ausrüstungsinvestitionen bei erneut sinkenden Gesamtbudgets

Abstract

Die erneut sinkenden Investitionen des ostdeutschen verarbeitenden Gewerbes in den neuen Bundesländern sind Inhalt dieses Artikels. Das ostdeutsche verarbeitende Gewerbe ist 1998 um 11,5% gegenüber 1997 zurückgegangen, für 1999 wird ein weiterer Rückgang um 7% erwartet. Das Investitionsniveau lag 1998 damit aber noch immer um 60% höher als in den alten Bundesländern. Der Rückgang zu einem mittefristig "normalen" Niveau erfolgt seit 1996 schrittweise. Die meisten positiven Einflüsse auf die Investitionstätigkeit haben sich gemäß den Bewertun-gen aus den Unternehmen gegenüber 1998 deutlich abgeschwächt, nur die techni-schen Möglichkeiten und der Umweltschutz wurden nicht oder nur unwesentlich nach unten gestuft.
