Mobilité internationale des étudiants du supérieur et débuts de vie active

Abstract

Are there any identifiable factors of international student mobility that favour the rapid access to a sustainable, quality first job ? Our econometric analysis of a survey amongst internationally mobile students from Rhone-Alpes region shows that an extent of mobility (short duration, in English, compulsory, attested by a diploma) speeds the school-to-work transition to a quality job (permanent contract and high wages), without, however, fully offsetting the strong impact of standard determinants such as diploma level, activity sector or the gender inequality.
