Allein unter Reiseweltmeistern?: Das Segment der Nicht-Reisenden in Deutschland unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Partizipationsentscheidung im Tourismus

Abstract

Obwohl knapp 16 Mio. Deutsche im Jahr 2017 keine Urlaubsreise unternommen haben (FUR 2018), werden Nicht-Reisende in der deutschsprachigen Tourismusforschung kaum berücksichtigt. Im vorgestellten Projekt wird untersucht, welche Einflussfaktoren gegen die Partizipationsentscheidung im Tourismus wirken, wie Motivation bzw. Constraints die Partizipationsentscheidung beeinflussen und welche unterschiedlichen Entscheidungstypen von Nicht-Reisenden identifiziert werden können. Methodisch wird eine integrierte Herangehensweise mit qualitativen Interviews und quantitativen Befragungen im Rahmen der Reiseanalyse der FUR gewählt. In diesem Projekt wird ein neues Framework für die Auseinandersetzung mit den Nicht-Reisenden geschaffen, welches erstmals das Nicht-Reisen-Können und das Nicht-Reisen-Wollen gleichberechtigt berücksichtigt.
