Managers of small and medium enterprises experience and approaches to business conditions in South Bohemian region

Abstract

The main aim of this paper is evaluation of approaches, opinions and presumptions of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in south bohemian region, looking for weaknesses in their activities. Minimization of these weaknesses contributes to improvement of future development of these companies. Group of Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) take an important role in contemporary economic infrastructure of Czech Republic too, and every new information or experience can be a representation of a movement in development of this group of companies. Accomplished research find results, which is possible to entrepreneurs recommended for prosperous business: formulation of strategy especially by small entrepreneurs, improving of awareness of cooperation forms among companies. Entrepreneurs would be focused on more effective usage of supportive programme for SMEs and close cooperation with chamber of commerce. Paper is one of the solutions of grant project GA JU 068/2010/S: Process management and possibilities of implementation in SMEs.
