A Balaton fővárosainak összehasonlítása a „turistacsalogatók” és a helyi adókból származó bevételek alapján

Abstract

Balatonfüred, Siófok és Keszthely – a Balaton idegenforgalmi régióban erre a három városra jut a kereskedelmi szálláshelyek vendégeinek és vendégéjszakáinak mintegy harmada. Milyen jellemzőkkel bír ez a három város, amelyeket a Balaton fővárosaiként is szokás emlegetni? Miért látogatottabbak ezek a városok, mint a többi Balaton-parti település? Melyek azok az attrakciók, amelyek a vizsgált városokat vonzóvá teszik? Hogyan állítható fel egy turisztikai szempontból megbízható rangsor? Mely tényezők relevánsak, és melyek nem? A tanulmány ezekre a kérdésekre keresi a választ, vizsgálva az egyes települések turisztikai adottságait, a szálláshelyfoglaltsági adatokat, valamint a települések idegenforgalmi adóból származó bevételeit. Az eme turisztikailag releváns mutatók alapján felállított rangsor segítségével összehasonlítja a desztinációk versenypozícióját, és feltérképezi a piaci erőviszonyokat.
