Abstract

The importance of knowledge management as a driver of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) leads to promoting its development in Agrobusiness. Objective. Know the impact of knowledge management (KM) on CSR actions by SMEs in Hermosillo Sonora. Research method. A questionnaire was developed and applied to a representative sample of 94 companies. Results. The validity and reliability of the instrument is confirmed, and a significant correlation is detected between the implementation of the KM and the achievement of CSR, differentiated according to the size of the company. Implications. It is necessary to strengthen the instrument to cover a greater amount of information. Value. Analyze the local phenomenon from the perspective of the pressure exerted by managers to achieve CSR. Findings, highlights the impetus detected in managers and the need for training towards them in CSR matters.
