La competitividad del complejo oleaginoso y su contribución a la economía nacional

Abstract

En un contexto de dinamismo y expansión del complejo de cultivos oleaginosos, este artículo pone el foco en las estimaciones de su contribución a la economía, tanto en términos de valor agregado como de las transferencias realizadas al resto de la economía. En definitiva, tanto si se considera el conjunto de la cadena de producción de soja, como solo la fase primaria del conjunto del eslabón agrícola (toda la rotación involucrada), ambos son subsectores altamente competitivos que transfieren anualmente un importante monto de recursos al resto de la economía. Sus aportes provienen principalmente de las divergencias generadas en forma de costos de capital, impuestos y cargas sociales. Estos beneficios recibidos por la sociedad son producto de las políticas aplicadas, y su análisis permite identificar fortalezas y debilidades en relación a la competitividad de los eslabones y del complejo en su conjunto.
