Abstract

Kutatásunk felhasználja a Magyar Energetikai és Közmű-szabályozási Hivatal KÁT beszámoló adatait, melynek feldolgozásával meghatározzuk azokat a településeket, melyek elvileg energiarégiót alkothatnak Magyarországon. -------------------------------------------------------------- In regional researches we always have to face the problem of defining the concept, size, institution and the function of the region accurately, due to the fact, that region definitions are widespread and often mentioned. The regional/spatial sciences distinguish many region types, according to severe investigation and assessment methods and models. In the course of our research we investigate the theoretical system of the energy regions based on newfangled renewable energy sources. In Hungary the definition hasn’t already been officially accepted, and there is no existing energy region system. We present the thesis on the institutionalization by Anssi Paasi and the model of the 33-point-criteria system applied in the German energy regions. In our research we evaluate KÁT report data published by Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority, thus we assign the settlements constituting energy region theoretically in Hungary. The results could demonstrate those micro-regional and regional level initiations, which started their institutionalization process before the national formal codification of energy region definition.
