Overproduction: Old And New Crises

Abstract

This article approaches the crisis 2008/2009, focusing that it is in process and no means to overcome it have been displayed yet. This also makes a digression on past crises, particularly those occurred on 1929 and 1975, in order to disclose similarities and differences as to the phenomenal pictures which characterize them. It shows how current crisis is brought forth inherently from capital accumulation, as well as inhuman results elicited with its emergence. It also presents essential antagonisms of capital in its current accumulative processes, apart from crises, meaning to hold that human misery resulted from accumulation shall be intensified in periods of crisis. Eventually, it points out that crises shall come to an end only when capital essential categories are overcome.
