Abstract

Ce document présente des résultats du LICNAG sur des pratiques recommandées par l’UNICEF et l’OMS visant à améliorer la survie, la croissance et le développement des enfants. Les résultats sont groupés par type de pratiques: celles qui 1) valorisent la croissance et le développement de l’enfant; 2) contribuent à la prévention de la maladie; 3) assurent une gestion de la maladie et des soins appropriés pour les enfants malades ainsi que le soin et le soutien pour les femmes enceintes et celles qui allaitent. Le document fait ensuite état des facteurs qui influencent la capacité des femmes à suivre des pratiques recommandées, avec un intérêt particulier sur la charge de travail des femmes et les contraintes de temps.
