Abstract

Cette recherche adresse trois questions fondamentales liées à l'impact de la dévaluation sur la production agricole dans le Bassin Arachidier-- une zone de production pluviale où vit plus de la moitié de la population rurale du Sénégal: (1) La dévaluation a-t-elle changé la rentabilité des principaux produits agricoles? (2) La dévaluation a-t-elle affecté les combinaisons de cultures et le choix des technologies de production? (3) La dévaluation a-t-elle encouragé les cultivateurs a intensifier la production de manière durable d'un point de vue économique et environnemental?
