Abstract : In every creation process, entrepreneurs have to answer to three principal questions: What (what am I going to create, what's my idea?), How (What are my possibilities, my capital, my limits?) and Where (what is the best location for my company?). Because of globalisation, rapid technological change, legal exigencies… entrepreneurs become more realistic. They are aware that to succeed they do not need simply to have a good idea and capital, but to know how to « plant » it in a fertile environment where it could have many opportunities to evaluate and progress. For this reason, the choice of the best location is one of the main preoccupations of entrepreneurs. The present document on the theme « factors of location of enterprises», regroups many subjects realised by students in Advanced studies (Entrepreneurship and Industrial Redeployment) and makes an overview of the principal factors which participate in the choice of the enterprises' location with some regional and firms examples
